Trailers: ‘The Cove’

The CoveSource: Official Site

I just stumbled across an amazing trailer for a documentary called The Cove. Now, it’s important to point out that this IS a documentary, even though it seems more like “Splinter Cell Gone Activist.” Everything you’re about to see is real, and the crew were in serious jeopardy attempting to expose this heartbreaking story.

Directed by Louie Psihoyos, the film tells the amazing true story of how Psihoyos, legendary dolphin trainer Richard O’Barry (Flipper) and an elite team of activists, filmmakers and freedivers who embarked on a covert mission to penetrate a hidden cove in Japan, shining light on a dark and deadly secret. The mysteries they uncovered were only the tip of the iceberg. I’ll definitely be checking this one out.

Trailers: Michael Moore Teaser

Posted by Brian on 06/13/2009

Michael MooreSource: First Showing

Earlier tonight reports popped up from New York, Chicago, and Washington DC of a teaser playing before films in which Michael Moore spoke directly to the audience, then asked them to donate money while ushers walked up and down the aisles handing out collection plates. WTF, right? The stunt was, in actuality, Michael Moore’s teaser for his latest film which chronicles the current economic crisis.

A comical look at the global financial crisis and the current troubles with the U.S. economy during the transition between the incoming Obama Administration and the outgoing Bush Administration. The film is currently untitled, and no release date has been given.
