Digital Spy recently caught up with Wes Craven and talked to him about those rumors of a new Scream trilogy. He says that Bob Weinstein has talked to him about, and he’s talked to [screenwriter] Kevin Williamson about it. “I’m not closed to it, I’m not open to it, I’ll be perfectly happy to read a script and tell him what I think. That’s where it’s at and I’m not expecting a script until August. I don’t know what the premise is or anything.” He also says that the deals on Courtney Cox-Arquette and David Arquette are set, but that the rest of the characters will probably be new. I’m not really sure about all of this. A new Scream trilogy? Maybe what we need are new monsters, new psychopaths.

I wish Kevin Williamson who wrote Scream would look into Death Equity by Kimberly Bridges. This book would make a phenomenal horror flick!

Doctors let people die so that they will get big donations. The patients go in for simple procedures but end up dying…hmmmm….weird scary things happen to keep you hanging from your seat. This book needs to be a movie as it ties right in with the Michael Jackson case since his doctor admitted to killing him!

Thriller that would be an awesome blockbuster movie.
