Liz Merriweather Is A 'Honey Pot'

Paramount Pictures have preemptively bought action-comedy pitch Honey Pot from scribe Liz Meriwether for the Montecito Co. to produce. Details on story are being kept under wraps, but the film will feature two female leads and is set in the world of international espionage. Meriweather described the project as “what happens when a bunch of hot, funny women get their ‘Bourne’ on.”

Meriwether previously penned the Off Broadway play “Mistakes Madeline Made,” which led to the Fox TV pilot Sluts, friends-with-benefits comedy Fuckbuddies, which Montecito is also producing, and she is currently adapting Rudolph Delson’s novel Maynard and Jennica for producer Scott Rudin.
